Aluminum honeycomb core panels are advanced composite architectural cladding elements consisting of two thin aluminum face sheets bonded to a hexagonal aluminum honeycomb core. This sandwich construction achieves an extraordinary strength-to-weight ratio — panels are significantly stiffer and lighter than solid aluminum sheet of equivalent thickness, allowing very large panel formats without oil-canning or panel deflection under wind load.

Honeycomb Panel Installation
Aluminum honeycomb panels require precision fabrication and careful on-site handling. Panels are fabricated with integrated edge closures that seal the honeycomb core and provide attachment flanges for the subframe connection system. Installation uses engineered aluminum extrusion and clip systems similar to those used for ACM and metal panel systems, but designed for the specific panel weights, sizes, and attachment geometries of honeycomb panels.
Panel flatness is the defining characteristic of honeycomb panels — our installation teams use laser-level QC throughout the installation process to maintain the exceptional panel flatness that distinguishes these products from lower-performing alternatives. Any visible oil-canning or bowing is addressed before the panel is permanently secured.
