The Pacific Northwest receives some of the most sustained rainfall of any region in North America. Seattle averages 37 inches per year; Portland, 36 inches. This moisture-heavy environment demands cladding systems and installation practices that go beyond minimum code requirements. Our team trains extensively in drainage plane design, WRB integration, flashing details, and window integration — the four most critical factors in moisture management.

We work only with manufacturers whose products have demonstrated Pacific Northwest performance data. This includes Blueskin VP160 (Henry Company), DuPont Tyvek, Vaproshield, James Hardie, Equitone, SwissPearl, and others with proven track records in high-moisture climates.
